I will try to be fair: My son was at Pinecrest North since Kinder: Pandemic time, Ms. Heredia was a really good teacher, but the school admin was the worst, they don’t communicate with parents at all and doesn’t care about kids, only about the parents that donate more and more… When he passed to 1st grade, they do a random thing with students and rarely they will continue at class with same classmates, at that time my son and one of his best friends went together to the same classroom with Mrs. Maceira, she was a good teacher as my son mentioned, but barely communicated with parents. My son then passed to 2nd grade and pump! Any of his friends was with him at classroom, he was sooo sad ??!! Felt like it was his first time on this school, I talked to his teacher who pass the info to the admin, At the beginning the leader teacher Mrs. Valarezo sounds involved and interested in making him feel good, but the only option she gave was talked to the counselor to help him to adapt, my son has A in all subjects in all grades and also is in Gifted process, so he doesn’t need any person to help him understand that what they do with the kids is WRONG, when I said my son doesn’t want to be at school if you can’t move him to at least with one of his friend and she suggested: “then you can get him to another school” also mentioned there are a lot of parents with the same concern…. means Pinecrest ADMIN, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!!! You don’t care even if you have good kids to help you with your rated. My son will be great at any school, no worries! Glad we don’t need to spent a lot of money in your materials list! Other school ask for 1 ream of copy paper for kids while Pinecrest asked for 7 ream copy paper ??????, insane, without mentioned the all others materials. We don’t recommend this school at all….
Hi, I had a very good opinion of this school until the school year began. the issue of the line to leave the children has become unbearable. I live relatively close and years before I arrived at 8:00 am and my daughter arrived on time. Now a days if you arrive at 7:40 the line turns at 7 and passes 107 ave. I Called today to see if they had a solution for this and the only answer was you have to come earlier. What time do I have to wake up my daughter then? do I have to be at 7:00 am? an hour and a half before to be able to arrive on time. they are definitely doing something wrong that they were not doing before. because this is my daughter’s third year at this school, and it was never like that.and not to mention the line to pick them up. That another situation. I am really disappointed.
I will like to say thank you for this wonderful school for the year 2019-2020..
We are really proud of my daughter’ Teacher Ms Lina Heredia and we really appreciate her work specially on this time that she has being in our houses like a family member teaching our children. She really has passion for her work. Everyday she greet her students with a smile in her face. We don’t have words to express our thank you enough for this wonderful teacher.. God Bless you for more years…
Thank you very much for Ms Lina Heredia. Stephany Denis ‘s Parents
