My son and me move to Georgia almost four years ago and the transition was hard for both, I was supposed to go to west Chatham when at the end, I end up in Pooler Elementary and I remember my first day with the teacher Mrs Megan Cosson I explained to her about us and she was one of the reasons we start to love our new home and fall in love with his school… Don’t let the old buildings make you think that is not a good school, all the teacher look forward to help you, I think what make the difference between a good and a bad school is how involved are the parents and how the communication is with your teachers , sometimes we want for the school to do all the work … Help your teacher, let them now you’re there not to criticize instead be there to teach hand by hand… My son goes to stem academy now and even to that transition I was helped a lot to choose a right school for his capacity… I’m more than grateful for all those three years there and all the staff!

This school is awesome. The teachers care about your children. My daughter has been a student since prek and I like the way they incorporate lessons from the next grade level with my childs current level.

It is a small school but the staff is by far the best staff I have ever experienced in a school. My son loves Pooler elementary.
