This was once a great district. I have had family and friends (well their children) educated here. Unfortunetly, district office staff, most importantly the Superintendent, has changed and so has many policies, making this district mediocre at best. Most, if not all, seasoned staff have been harassed into leaving with a don’t let the door hit you on the way out mentality. The veteran teachers that did not go with the new “teaching” policy. The policy of get the kids to pass by giving them the answers. The teachers that tried to help those who needed more, while keeping those that did not engaged. It has gone from being a school about your children to a Communist regime of spies, backstabbing, policy changes being made to prohibited whistle blowing, an inner circle getting ahead while the populous suffer. Namely, your children, their education, their future, your future, our Nation’s future. I don’t believe the children are our future. I KNOW. Right now, they are being let down. Our teachers are being let down. The future of teaching is being strangled into nothingness in this district. If you can, send you children to a different school district, as your children are not too priority here. The image of the Superintendent and district office staff is the only priority.

The school system didn’t tell the transportation system that My daughter got moved to all day so they didn’t put her down for bussing to school. So she doesn’t have a way to school. I have to drive her and it’s just kinda lucky that I happen to be on maternity leave while this is getting sorted out and even when they do sort it out they won’t have bussing for her on Wednesday because they would have to reroute their busses to make it work.
