I’ve worked at Prairieland Montessori since the school opened in August of 2014 and in that time I’ve grown not only as a child educator but as an individual. I’ve decided to pursue my teaching certification which is why I am no longer there but the people that remain are the best coworkers anyone could ever ask for.
Being a Montessori school we encourage curiosity and we allow the children to explore that in safe and caring environment. We also allow them to develop their independence. This is a great school with an amazing and caring staff.
I am grateful to Prairieland everyday for giving my son the mindfulness, independence and education that he received during his 2.5 years there. The level of care and thoroughness is amazing. If we had any questions, we asked and we were momentarily met with a response. He was challenged everyday he was there to be a better person, to take care of himself but to also to think about others. Thank you Prairieland for helping my son to grow and be himself and also a man for others.
This preschool is nurturing and teaches independence. We sent both of our children to this Montessori preschool and have been amazed by the things they have learned there. The confidence they gain in the ability to perform tasks on their own (like putting on their coats) is priceless. The staff also makes sure that the kids get plenty of time to play and be a kid.
