When my first son was born, my husband and I spent a lot of time researching local child care facilities. We even had a rating system. After walking into Preston, we immediately knew that we had found the right fit for our family. Six years later, we still feel that way. I currently have my 2 year old and my 4 year old enrolled in daycare there. My 6 year old was well prepared for kindergarten thanks to his fabulous Pre-K teacher. My little ones call it “school” and look forward to getting there every morning, their days are filled with friends, fun and learning. I sometimes have trouble getting them to leave! It’s a smaller, family-owned facility. The staff is friendly and very accommodating and their genuine love of the kids is evident. The teacher retention is great and its nice that all three of my children get to experience the same teachers. I’ve referred several friends to Preston, all of whom decided to enroll their children there. We recently relocated to NC and our top priority was finding a quality daycare/preschool for our two young children. During our research of facilities in the area we found Preston Children’s Academy (PCA) and instantly felt this was the perfect fit for us. Every single staff member is welcoming and caring, they take the time to get to know you and your child. They are flexible to your needs and do a great job at communicating with parents. With the on-set of COVID, PCA took immediate steps to institute new protocols and safety measures to protect the children and their staff. The environment at PCA feels organized, calm and nurturing which has really helped with our children’s transition to their new school. We’ve only been attending for a short while but it already feels like home.
