The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of my experience as an employee. Everything started out great. I was a teacher for only a few short months before the owner, Ms. Sima and Executive Director, Ms. Monica moved me up to leadership. I really learned alot in that position and how to run the school and enjoyed being one of the ones to greet the families in the morning. But eventually all that didn’t last long as communication and the work load between the leadership team started to become a problem. When it was brought to the attention of Ms Sima and Ms. Monica, they said that things would get better and improve but things did not as the months went by.
Management did not listen to other leadership members and staff about the problems, so staff started to leave, creating more problems in the center as classrooms bcame very short staffed.
There are also teachers that are overworked, working overtime 9-10 hour days covering for other classrooms. Some teachers are definitely not paid as much as they should be with all that they do, while others are paid more than they show in their work.
Within the last 2 months, there have been teachers resigning almost every week due to the lack of support from management when problems or concerns were brought to their attention. Due to their lack of proper management skills, the center lost some really great staff members.
All in all, it’s a good place to send your child. But I would NOT recommend working here. You can probably find a job where you are paid what you are worth, where management listens to your concerns, and where you are not so physically and mentally exhausted each day.
Primrose has been life-changing for her and us too in the best way possible. Everyone at Primrose was so welcoming and having moved my daughter was missing her teachers and her friends, she was treated so lovingly. Primrose has lived up to our expectations and way more, she loves being at school with her teachers and friends. We are fortunate to have found an environment that my daughter thrives in. She always comes home excited and happy about her day and that means more than anything to us as parents.
