I have been employed at Primrose School of North Olathe for almost a year now and LOVE it! The teachers truly care about children, their learning and development and strive to provide the best Early Childhood Education possible. As with any Early Childhood centers, there are challenges but the staff along with the owners (Kal and Ami) work together as a team to support children and families as well as each other. Our teachers participate in continual learning to ensure they are implementing the curriculum based on current research in Early Childhood development. As a Early Childhood Special Education teacher, I believe the curriculum is very Developmentally Appropriate for the children we serve and I also believe that teachers are striving to implement the curriculum as it is written. I have worked for several school districts as well as Olathe Schools and have found that the level of support, love and respect shown from the owners, teachers and management, that our school stands apart from many others. As I have had the opportunity to get to know Kal and Ami, I believe that they truly care about the well-being and education of the children that are enrolled as well as their families. They go above and beyond to make sure that children are safe, loved and cared for appropriately and that teachers feel supported and motivated to provide an excellent early childhood experience for our families. Thank you, with all my heart, for allowing me to be a part of the Primrose family!
Primrose of North Olathe has a wonderful and joyful feel from the moment you walk in. I have worked there now for one year and have never loved a job or staff more. The family who own it are not only so very professional but also so very kind. They go out of their way to keep their families and staff happy. One of many examples I could give is every month they provide a family event from valentines parties to picnics and most everyones favorite is our huge Thanksgiving feast for all our families and staff.
Ms. Shandra is our Director and not only is she a wonderfully strong leader but also has the biggest most compassionate heart for not only the children but everyone! I am the Assistant Director and personally love my job but most of all, all the very special relationships I’ve made with the children, parents and staff. We have a very organized Education Coach who never skips a beat assuring everything is done the most proper way to not only keep our children safe but to also assure your children are gaining everything possible while learning in a very fun manor!
Our wonderful teachers are all so good at what they do and show so much love for the children.
Please call to set up a tour if you have any interest as I can promise we will be one of the kindest, cleanest, professional, organized, caring childrens early educational centers you visit.
Amazing staff and awesome programs! We *love* Primrose! Our toddler has been here since they opened. She’d been at another well regarded local preschool for about a year, but we moved to Primrose because of their much more convenient location. We expected the experience to be about the same, but it’s actually so much better. We get photos & videos each day (instead of just photos). We have online access to the music program so we can sing our favorite songs at home. The staff all seem to know my child by name and greet her in the hall. At her previous preschool, we needed a second set of clothes almost every day and were buying stain remover by the gallon – – at Primrose, she comes home almost as clean as when we dropped her off! They also provide sippy cups (so we don’t have to send 4(!) each morning), the menu looks so good *I* want to stop by for lunch, and my toddler loves going to school each day. I could keep going for another 500 words on why Primrose is terrific, but just check it out for yourself. You and your kid(s) will be so happy you did!
