We began looking at daycare options when I was 4 months pregnant. On the advice of a good friend who previously worked for the Goddard School, we added Primrose to our list of schools to tour. The decision to go with Primrose South Gilbert was a no-brainer. I highly recommend touring and securing your place on the wait list early for their infant room as their teacher ratio is so low at 2:8 (one of the things we loved!).
From the atmosphere in the front reception to their cleanliness standard to the love the teachers have for their kids, the Primrose School of Southeast Gilbert is exceptional. Our daughter loves seeing Ms Savannah and Stacy in the mornings. She loves to cuddle with Ms Stacy and Ms Savannah can always get a smile out on her on even her grumpiest mornings! Ms Claudia holds down the fort in the afternoon and is so knowledgeable on all things infant.
It is very common for me to find one of the ladies from the admin office lending a helping hand with feedings or popping in to get a quick cuddle from my sweet girl.
I had a fellow mother tell me recently that she was so glad she has family to care for her child while she works, as she knows her child is with someone who really loves her. As someone with no immediate family in the area, I rest assured knowing that the girls who play such a large role in the development of our daughter clearly love her too.
We have been at primrose for a year already and it has been nothing but amazing! We have a little different of a situation, I work from home and have an older daughter in school so we didn’t NEED childcare. We did want our 1 1/2 year old son to be around other children his age, and wanted more of a learning environment if we did decide to put him into some sort of preschool. This is exactly what we found at Primrose. When we walked into the school for the first time I was shocked, it didn’t smell or look like a daycare, everything was well kept, and clean.

The education aspect was very important to us. When we were shown the balanced learning system we were hooked! “Active minds, Healthy bodies and happy hearts” is exactly that. When we pick our son up, we are given a sheet that lists everything that he did for that day, from what he ate & how much, to diaper/potty details, down to this mood for the day. The communication between staff and families is incredible. You can tell by the constant emails & updates from the director Mrs. Roach to her families that she truly cares about each and every one of us!

I could go on and on about all of the great things they offer, we are so incredibly thankful and blessed to call Primrose of South Gilbert our sons school! We highly recommend them!

My 18-month old daughter began attending Primrose of South Gilbert about 3 months ago after previously being at a nearby school. She is in the older Toddler room and the transition has been a great one for her. She began learning sign language at about 5 months old and Primrose has been reinforcing those signs she already knew plus adding a multitude of new ones. She is learning vocabulary at a quick rate and she is developing strong social skills. They do have lots of fun too! They do lots of art and music and have several different themed days to make the kids love going to school. She absolutely loves her teacher and runs in to give her a hug each day. The teachers really love on the kids and it shows. One other item of note is their chef. My daughter has several food allergies and she really makes it her priority to find healthy alternatives for her while keeping a close eye on all foods she is given.
