We have been a Primrose Tewksbury family right from the beginning. Our daughter, 1.5 years old at the time, had previously attended a different daycare and my husband and I knew it wasn’t the right fit. Upon first speaking with the owner, Mrs. Keisha Perez, I knew we had to enroll our daughter before the school even opened its doors. We wanted more out of our daughter’s early education and felt that Primrose’s philosophy and mission statement aligned with our values and goals for our child. From our daughter’s very first day, the owner, education director, and teachers made sure to make us feel welcomed, reassured, and that we could ask any questions and call any time. Our daughter has now attended Primrose Tewksbury for an entire year and she has just started Preschool as of last week. She previously had the same 3 teachers since last August. The consistency of her teachers made a positive impact on her emotional growth, cognitive development and independence. The caliber of the teachers outshines other daycares and schools in that each teacher is there for the right reasons and it shows through their daily actions and tireless efforts to serve the children. The entire staff knows who our family is and makes us feel important and valued. We are constantly updated on everything from curriculum, activities, eating, sleeping, and any pertinent information from our daughter’s day. We attribute her successes to the quality of the dedicated teachers and the curriculum of Primrose. We feel so strongly about Primrose Tewksbury we consider them as an extended part of our family and village. We are a military family and having loving and reliable care for our child is key to supporting us. After such an amazing experience with our daughter, we will now be sending our baby boy to Primrose and feel confident he will thrive.

Last year, I was researching to find a new school for my son, who is 5. Given his love of learning, we wanted a center that focuses on engaging, rigorous curriculum to best meet his needs for his second Pre-K year. After just one day of research, we found out that Primrose was being built right in our town of Tewksbury. I called instantly and was blown away by Mrs. Keisha Perez’ description of their program and beliefs.

Since starting in September of 2023, I have been in awe of how much both my sons have learned in such a short time. Being a fourth grade teacher myself, I love how Primrose uses data to drive instruction and differentiate through their Balanced Learning philosophy. Alongside this, we also appreciate the detailed communication we receive about their day to day activities! It is also commendable to note the amount of outreach the center does outside of the classroom, including book and toy drives. Their curriculum is not only curriculum-based, but also teaching children the social-emotional skills needed to become an active part of the community.

The school also has secure safety precautions in place and an avid cleaning routine. These preventative measures make me feel at ease in regards to my children’s safety and health. They also provide nutritious snacks and meals with a weekly balanced menu posted the week prior.

In all, I highly recommend Primrose School of Tewksbury. Their school is next to none in regards to education, safety, and overall high quality staff.
