Fast forward to over two years later, I write this as our girls are getting ready to transition to another school because we’ve moved and am so very sad to be leaving. I’ve been carting them a really long distance for over a year just because we couldn’t bring ourselves to say goodbye! It’s a pretty amazing feeling to be able to drop your kids off and not worry about them throughout the day (of course I MISS them, but I’m truly not worried about any aspect of their wellbeing at Primrose – and you can’t put a price on that!) The app that sends notifications regarding their daily activities is so comforting and SO helpful!
My girls have been loved, cared for, taught an extensive amount, socialized and had incredible experiences. When they walk into school in the morning, they’re greeted with smiles and genuine questions about how they’re doing/what superhero is on their shirt/how their weekend was and when they get to class they get hugs from teachers and friends who are genuinely excited to see them. They have learned so many skills/concepts and I feel like they’re in a great place to start grade school. We’ve made friends with parents and have a little social group for playdates, been to birthday parties, and we’ve truly built community with other Primrose families.
Forgive the wordiness of this review, I just can’t stress enough that if you make the decision to enroll your children in Primrose of Wellington, you’ll get to experience all of this and more. We are excited to have moved to a new town but so sad to say goodbye to the people and place that have taken care of my daughters and helped them grow from babies/toddlers into “big kids”! (Cue the tears!)
As a parent, there is something wonderful about seeing your kids develop relationships not only with other kids their age, but with other adults as well. I love that our kids know they are loved and valued by their teachers. It is obvious that they feel safe and trust them. I think that part of learning is just as important and foundational as the educational aspect.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice to have our kids attend Primrose and we’re looking forward to several more years with them.
