I went to this school for one year and it is lacking education to say the least. Staar results show precisely that. It’s not only the education that’s bad. The principal sits in her office all day and snacks. She plays favorites with students. She suspends them for very unreasonable circumstances. She will even expell you on the last day of school. She makes false accusations about things that could get people arrested if they knew about them, even though you didn’t do anything along those lines, and it was something very minor. My brother and I completely tanked the staar test. For the middle school portion of the school, we didn’t even have a math teacher for six months. Please don’t send your children here. The playground is very unsafe and falling apart. There is even an electric fence near the playground that the kids could easily get to. This school needs to get some better staff and renovate the school, or they just need to shut it down. Please don’t send your children here ever. They don’t deserve this.
We moved here from Florida and we were looking for a school that didnt have the if youre not in the know then you dont belong group. We heard about Temple Charter Academy to see if my son could go. The entire staff is amazing. Everyone welcomed my son with open arms. All teachers he had were always very helpful to him. My grandson moved here a year later and hes also going to the school. My son graduated from here and it wont have been possible if it wasnt for us find this school. Because he was going to Temple High school and the teachers and principal didnt care that he got attacked by students in the school on the school campus. They just brushed it under the rug and said kids will be kids. All the kids in Temple Charter Academy are so nice and polite to everyone.
