Transitions is actually when I got better, I was at my breaking point before I came but I was so happy to learn I would be going to transitions because two of my real good friends where there and I heard good things about the place. The staff where amazing I miss them so much especially Tay, malianna, and Melissa, and Tami of course they are a great group and it’s some great love they give. They are all great to talk to. The students where good too. Some drama and stuff but that can be expected at a treatment center. The food was also not the best especially for us with dietary restrictions. Although this place helped a little I still struggle with bad derealization and it didn’t help in the ways I was hoping it would. But I wouldn’t recommend enrolling your kid at PCS because they won’t be able to go to transitions for a while so they will have a bad experience.
I saw Paris documentary. I’m not much of a fan of hers but I believe her!! So many ONE stars CAN’T be wrong! Now the website shows young black boys as a poster child treated there!!! Obviously Rich people are NOT sending their kids. The demographics have changed intirely. I’m so worried and I will be watching. Additionally I noticed the responses from the school are general and don’t address complaints with transparency. This is what a Google review is for. Parents who aren’t convinced by reviews just don’t care!
I went here for about a year. It was awful. The therapist would tell everyone anything that was said to her during sessions. The doctor wouldn’t really care about anything and just throw you 8-10 different medications minimum at once almost as if they were testing to see what new combinations would do. They would cancel meetings with case workers and guardians if you had any visible bruises or injuries. A great place to go to if you want to be messed up for the rest of your life.
