Went to the school unannounced and requested to speak with Mr. Leake, Guidance Counselor. The security guard, and all the staff I encountered were very helpful. I felt very bad that I had to go unannounced and that Mr. Leake was dealing with a crisis when I arrived. After he settled the child he met with me in a very pleasant way, disregarding that I did not have an appointment. This is a big deal for me, as most people in social service tend to react negatively to unannounced visits/meetings. Representative of the school or not, my experience was a pleasant one. HOPE THEY KEEP IT UP!
This is was probably the worst school I worked for. Kids fought constantly didn’t seem like there was any order In the cafeteria . Like the kids do what they want in there . There were like random announcements at awkward times for no reason. I left in 3 weeks. That was few years ago.
