This is honestly a terrible school. I was taken out of the school’s system without anyone telling my parents in fourth grade. Coming to school on the first day back, they said that i wasn’t registered in the school. Due to that, i was out of school for some time as my mother struggled to get me into a new school. I am now in 9th grade and looking back on my experience at P.S. 233, i can say that this isn’t a good school. At times it if unsafe, and some staff seem to not care about the safety of their students. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve came upon some amazing teachers and staff members at this school. However, as a whole my experience at this school was terrible.
I attended this school from 2004 – 2009. I’m not sure what it’s like today but while I was there it was an excellent school, teaching students basic needed subjects like Art, Computers, Math, Science, and English. The teachers and staff were helpful and caring. If there was ever a problem with a student the teachers would talk to the parent in such a way that it’d seem like they knew each other for years.
I went to this 2001 smh showing 9/11 out my class room window till they took us out and put all of us in the cafeteria it was hell cops teachers etc etc was going crazy smh but I had Ms. Santos as my teacher I loved her I can say I miss I hope she doing ok.
