If I could give 0 stars, I would. For one, I’m a new parent. My son has only started at this school late last week and it’s already been a horrible experience. During the heat wave last week, the school was unbearably hot. The staff did not even have the decency to make it a half day for students or staff. My son came out of school drenched in sweat and red as an apple. All kids and staff were sweltering except for those in the main office where it’s air conditioned.
M. Tirado, the administrative staff is rude and condescending. I tried to talk to her as an adult and she responded with attitude.
When I reported her behavior to her higher up, it seems as if Principal Shapiro sided with her regardless of her insensitive behavior. The way he defends her behavior is almost as if they have an intimate relationship outside of work.
The bathrooms and cafeteria are disgusting and unsanitary. My son has also been dealing with several racist remarks from his peers. It’s only been 5 full days and I have emailed the Superintendent for an immediate transfer. Listen to the reviews. Don’t go here.

Hello I’m Amelia Grace Torres I’m on bus 8002 I got bullied a lot also my sister people are dirty minded someone stole and ate my sister snack and all that the teacher did was put her in a red card someone slapped my sister the school is good I made a lot of friends Emma Ajvi and manny more miss v was so mean well ok bye

The principal is very committed to his work so that the school functions correctly and our children receive the best teaching and education. The school staff is very respectful, the best trained teachers. I have no doubt that I put my daughter’s education in the best hands.
