I love the school, great atmosphere. however i am not rating based on the schools atmosphere, I am rating this based on the professionalism of a teacher named Mrs. Cherny, she is currently teaching 3rd grade. My sister is in the third grade class that she is teaching for 2016. She has said some negative never did she mention one positive quality, and she’s very unprofessional her answer to helping her improve was simply a shrug of shoulders and an “I DON’T KNOW” she even allowed another parent to stay in the room while she was having PTC with my mother and myself about my sister, thats unprofessional and she wasn’t even considering telling the parent to leave the room until i mentioned to her that its unprofessional discussing another student in front of another parent. Only when I said that to her did she tell the man to leave the room. she said she doesn’t even know how to refer her to a special education program. HOW ARE YOU A TEACHER AND NOT KNOW HOW TO MOTIVATE STUDENTS OR EVEN REFER THEM TO A PROGRAM THAT MAY HELP THEM? i wasn’t the only parent to say she is not motivational there are several others.
I have recently graduated from this school, and all I can say about my overall experience is that it’s horrible. I mean, sure you make friends and have some great school memories with them, but the school in itself is pretty crappy. The teachers are often unqualified and use unhelpful methods leaving you not understanding any of it. If you are brave enough to ask for help, you either get scolded or told that it is irrelevant. It is also very dirty and unsanitary pretty much everywhere. So all in all, teachers are disrespectful, it is dirty, you aren’t learning as much as you should, there really aren’t that many extracurricular activities, etc. Please don’t send your child to this school.
horrible place! ignorant teachers. kids with high grades from previous school, turn into below grade students! no teacher-parent contact. kids can break into a fight in the middle of the lesson, and teachers ignore it. the dean is an absolute prick! pure snitch. will tell you one thing , and do totally opposite. your child won’t get a proper education there, unless you just came from a foreign country and need to learn english. that’s it! most of the children there from a foreign country, mexico and india.
