As a parent deeply concerned about my child’s well-being, I find it necessary to express my disappointment with Pukeko Daycare, where my child has been enrolled since November last year.

The paramount concern in any daycare facility should be the safety and welfare of the children. Unfortunately, this foundational principle seems severely lacking at Pukeko Daycare. Regrettably, my child experienced bullying from classmates, and the response from the staff was woefully inadequate.

The teachers at Pukeko Daycare displayed a troubling level of irresponsibility. It was painfully evident that they were neither sufficiently trained nor equipped to ensure the well-being of the children under their supervision. How is it possible for a child to experience bullying under the vigilant eyes of teachers who are ostensibly responsible for their safety?

Equally concerning is the lack of communication from the staff. When I brought my child’s distressing experience to their attention, I was met with indifference and a string of excuses. It was apparent that addressing the serious concerns of a distressed parent was not their priority, as they seemed more inclined to sweep the matter under the rug. To make matters worse, they even attempted to place blame on my child for the altercation.

In conclusion, my time at Pukeko Daycare has been nothing short of disappointing and distressing. The evident lack of accountability, coupled with the neglectful behavior of the staff, has compelled me to withdraw my child from their care. I strongly urge fellow parents to exercise caution and consider alternative daycare options that prioritize the safety and well-being of our children.

Highly recommended. My kids attend this preschool and there is no words to describe how much they love it here. The staff are amazing they are so passionate about the kids and always make u feel great when u drop off and pick up your kids. The centre manager is also so understanding and the best people to communicate with.

I love doing my practicum here been with them for 1 n half years, they are always supporting you in every step of the way, I will really highly recommend everyone to send their children here, it’s great well welcome loving n caring centre.

I have two toddlers attending Pukeko Preschool. It is a conveniently located neighborhood daycare. Beside the teachers being attentive and engaging, the most telling moment is that every morning the kids don’t need to be told a second time that we are leaving. When picking them up, they excitingly explain what they have done during the day. Culture is celebrated in a variety of ways with crafts, music and food. Pleased to send my kids there!
