My daughter attended this school towards the end of the year. She was just not treated right and her educational plan was not followed. The staff was rude due to my presence at the school on the time checking on my child. A boy slapped my daughter in the face and a staff member told my child to punch the little boy back and he slapped her again in the face. I did not know of the situation until she got off the bus and really thought my child was wrong come to find out she was right. I went to that school and called a officer my self to the school who took my child statement.. The principal is useless. She will be nice to your face and treats people as if we are below her. She may go to the school dressed professional but she sure does not ask like it. I will say this much the assistant principal is amazing. She goes to the length to talk to you to make sure your child is safe and most important she listens. I would not recommend this school for any child at the end of the day they will defend there a staff over your child and sure will not call you when something serious is going on

I absolutely loved this school for my child, which she was placed in Ms. Adams class. Ms. Adams helped my daughter out so much in letter recognition and sounds, reading, and writing. My child would come home everyday and talk about all the new things she learned with her. Ms. Adams is a very patient yet stern teacher who takes pride in her students and their success. Dr. Deborah Cowan-Steele which is the principle…WOW!!! Very sweet, kind, and most important stays involved with the students and parents. Ms. Kim Rhodes assistant principle just as funny as can be and love to see her smile. Lastly Erreka Reed so helpful, she is the secretary and when I tell this woman would stop what she was doing to help, words can’t even describe it. I miss you all and would recommend any parent to send their child to Redan Elementary.

This have to be the worst school ever. Very unorganized and the education is the worst. My child is in the first grade and they are out of school due to covid. The Teacher give out way more work than she use to give. This us extremely stressful on essential workers who unlike her aren’t sitting at home. Secondly, the online education is so unorganized. They’re posting multiple assignments on multiple platforms. Not giving the passwords and so on. Some of the children don’t even have internet. They only opened twice at weird hours to pick up the paper assignments. The school is a hot mess. If you can avoid sending your child here.. please do.
