I go to this school now and my phone was stolen last year in march it was a brand new iPhone that was stolen two months later I was called to the office and they showed me the camera photos and they said that it was a clear Video of his face and still haven’t done anything in the past 13 months and when we nearly got the police involved the school said don’t worry we have got it covered this is outrageous
Someone choked someone and the person who got choked died here and the principal didn’t know until 3 days later because the deputy principal only told the principal after 3 days later because The deputy principal didn’t want to give the school a bad name and as soon as the principal knew the principal only suspended the student who choked the other student I think the student who choked the other student should’ve had got an expelled
I went to the school I was an ok student as I did all my work I was soon going to year a 11 and they sit their not teaching me what I need to know when will I need to know how many strings are in a violin now I was kicked out of school for a unfair reason I took my booklet home and they marked mine wrong when their right even my mother said the answers were right they lied saying I was behind in Tafe I wasn’t I was behind by one paper and I was also being bullied at the time I couldn’t sit in the one place that was ment to keep me safe they wanted me to sit with this girl that wasnted to bash me this school was unfair to me and because of it I’m having a bad life and I am in the special ad I was a sep student I don’t think anyone kids that are special should have to put up with the rude teachers here and how unfairly they are with most special kids even the deputy principal was so rude putting dirt on my name when I’m a good kid
Kids got expelled simply for expressing their culture. It’s disgusting that the principle and teachers are suppressing and discriminating against children that are only showing their culture to express love and respect via haka. To use the excuse of “it endangered other students” is ridiculous. Unbelievable.
Suspending students for performing a cultural dance? Racism in full effect. It shouldn’t matter the venue, we should always support indigenous students. Perhaps cultural awareness training would be beneficial considering you were under the assumption this performance “posed a safety risk” for others. Disappointing for a “diverse school”.
