Secretary was very short with me, seemed annoyed I was there, very black and white political rules and red tape when their should not be. I dont feel like they have the best interest of the children at heart at all! My daughter goes to RPA middle school, and plays sports at Obsidian- their is a bus that goes from RPA and drops off at Obsidian that she could ride easily, it has plenty of room. Instead the secretary at the transportation desk asked me why she cant just walk? I said its two miles, she says “I doubt that” yeah I clocked it in my car and it is 2 miles!!!!The bus is already going there!!! Im not asking you to do any special dropping off or picking up for my child, its already going there!!! They wont let her ride it because shes “not a bus rider”. Im furious!!! When I left she told me the buses are a courtesy you know, really? A courtesy? You just told me that my daughter has to walk and cant ride a bus that is already going to the place she needs to be, how is that a courtesy lady? Im pretty upset because as a parent and taxpayer. I feel like the school district is failing me when it can be helping. Get it together and make some sense here please!!!

Anyone who uses the term “you people” is a short sighted jerk. I care about all reviews and agree this Dept. has some undesirable attitudes within it.

I was trying to explain that my daughter had been suffering bullying for years due to her disability when Michelle, the bossy dept head (or something) rudely cut me off and told me she only needed to know what happened TODAY, as if the past was not relevant to the now, which it absolutely was.

Yes, after 3 years of bullying, my daughter finally lost her composure. Go figure.

The bus driver this particular day didn’t do a damn thing as my daughter was called rabid, that she had AIDS, and liked to give sexual favors.

Not sure anyone got in trouble but her.
