I have gone to/go to this school. I can’t say it’s the worst on the planet, especially with the recent change in principal. My main issue would probably be the fact that the schools funds for digital science are being used, but we could actually fix leaky roofs or structural problems, with the same money. It’s just an allocation problem. Another issue for me is the communications during school events: i.e. during “Creek Madness” (a school wide party), information from PTA member to school administration is painfully slowly relayed. Half of the staff members would be doing one thing, unknowing that they weren’t actually supposed to- why? Because everyone finds it insanely hard to just communicate, for whatever reason.
These issues are getting better, however, and I can assume this will be a much better school within 1-2 years. The teachers are helpful (in my experience), the staff are effective, and the principal is a great person.
The staff is always power trippin. All the students are ghetto and think that they are gangsters, and the education is not that great. The faculty do not care about the students at all and are always writing people up for the most ridiculous reasons. One time I saw someone get written up for arm wrestling, and everyone cheering them on also got written up. And another time a student got sent to ISS for jump over chairs the in the auditorium. I do not recommend Reedy Creek at all.
