let me just say i was a student here since it had opened so i was there for about 7 years. i can honestly say that it is one of the greatest possible schools i have gone to when i first got there i was one of those kids that moved every year to another school but i can honestly say now im glad that i got to stay there. They may have some problems over the years but it never once effected our learning at all. They had good academics we learned what we needed to fast and sometimes even learned more.they can help your kids overachieve in the best way possible as well. I had a quarter maybe more of my classmates who had the opportunity to earn math high school credits. Most of the teachers were amazing along with the extra curiccuar activities. There were time where i would even be talking to kindergarten or 1st grade teachers just for how nice they were. Me personally i was in the soccer team sag won president of the school drama, chorus, dance and i was in a makers studio club where not only did i make most of my friends but we coded and made things that we wouldn’t have been able to do anywhere else. Some of their issues were the favoritism of the students who parents work there or just of students in general. But regardless i can say from personal experience that it is a great school with great teachers. They also try their best to plan as many activities for the students as well there was never a dull day at this school.your kids would honestly love this school because no matter who they are they will meet someone who they will know for the rest of their life along with being introduced to new possibilities that they would of never seen themselves. the high school i go to now is a magnet school where i am in a medical jrotc and engineering courses all in one which would not have been possible with out this school. I was also in their aftercare program along with my sister who still attends the school now and the after care staff were just the best they made it fun for everyone and really cared for you or how you were feeling. They would always think of you and be interactive with the students swell. They also provid free tutoring for those kids who really need the extra help sometimes the teachers would even meet u with you in the morning or stay after hours just to make sure you finished your work or got the lesson. You would especially be lucky to have the honor of meeting these amazing kind hearted teachers ms.gramh art teacher, mr.reyes art teacher, mr.taylor core teacher, mr.acosta drama ,coach santiago pe, ms.maritza, ms.katyjanitors ms.rodriguez kindergarten, ms.walkenorst , ms.angela, ms.erum ms.noor cafeteria staff ms.yvonne ms. kimberly office staff ms.mendez kindergarden(she was the actual best) mr.melendez mr.browning core class teacher ms.garcia core class teacher (who is one of the most carrying people i have ever met.these were all just the people who really thought me what it meant to be well me they helped throughout all my time and i thank them for all they have done for me because they have all changed my world for the better. and these are just a few of the amazing staff they have i highly recommend this school all of their staff their intentions are all for the better being of the students and they all just become family. they are the best people to be with your kids will truly meet their second home with this school and the amazing people in it. just be sure to bring a jacket because it is definitely a chilly school. -from former student
Excellent school! My children have been attending this school since it first open its doors. We had different administrators team, and I have to say that this year we have the best team so far. They do listen to parents, address issues right away, and care for the children. Families that complain or leave the school it’s because they can’t keep up with the academic program, some find that it’s “too much” for their children. Communication is good with the teachers, and administration is always available. The school is kept clean, they have lots technology available in each classroom, and online resources for the students. They also offer free tutoring for students that need improvement. They can improve in their lunch menu.
This school is a great school. My only issue is I don’t feel safe in case of a code red. For the safety of the children, we rarely practice code reds. There has only been one code red this whole year and the school year is almost over. The procedures of this school is good though. They are very strick about their rules. They have this program called the tracker where if you miss behave you get put in it. I think its a good system its just that some teachers are beginning to abuse it. Overall, this is a great school. It is nice and clean and when you arrive to the school on Mondays they have the school nice and clean for the students when they come back.
