Here’s why I’m rating 3 and not 5. I got here 45 min. before my test time at about 20 min before I walked in to get my kit. The older lady tells me “you’re late. I wounder if they’ll even let you in” then she continued to be very negative. She told me I was not gonna be allowed in with my jacket or my apron ( and that’s fine, rules are ruels) but she did not offer me a locker to pay for she did not go over my kit with me. Because of her CONSTANT negativity I ran three my stuff in my car and when I walked in to the exam site I still had 15 min before they took us back. Thanks lady for giving me a heart attack for NO REASON!!! THEN to top it all off, I did NOT have all the supplies I needed in my kit. No tweezers, no make up pallet for my make up, I had nothing extra. No extra eye shadow applicators, no extra extra mascara wands…. I’ll go on but I’d be wririteing a book. Thanks I’m pretty sure I failed. I sudgetst if you’re reading this make your kit with your school. You’ll be safer

I wish I wasn’t given the advice to rent my state board kit instead of building my own. The staff here is perfectly nice and helpful, I appreciate they go through the kit with you and organize and label everything nicely. But I paid $200 for items I already own (items I received in school, because duh it’s all items you get in school) and before I even exited the testing room they left me a voicemail threatening to charge me $1100 for not returning my kit when “everybody else already had” like..What kind of customer service? They mentioned I signed a disclaimer but all I remember signing is that the kit is As-Is and selecting what my payment method would be. If it’s that big of a fee they should Certainly point it out to customers.
Feels like a scam, renting out 99cent store items for $120-$200+ ? Ultimately wouldn’t recommend, unless you have loads of disposable income

I didn’t rent kit from them, My esthetician exam was November 2019, I live in the city and I don’t drive a car, I took a uber with my mom on my exam day to get there, geee… It was very chilly day. I thought my mom would be able wait in waiting area where is all the chair are however they said no! Only people who taking exams can sit there! I was very disappointed, since my mom has no where else to go I got very upset, then one girl approached me and said there is rent a kit place next door maybe your mom could go there? After I finished my written exam my mom said people who work in rent a kit place is very sweet, let her sit inside and even offered her tea. It was cold day and I really appreciate rent a kit for letting my mom stay inside. Very kind ?????? After all trouble I did pass my exam ???? Thank you ???? ?? I wish rent a kit success
