This school is a nightmare and doesn’t even deserve one star. There are big punishments for small things like forgetting your planner or arriving three minutes late to a lesson. I am planning to move schools. Teachers focus on the small things rather than the big picture. Some teachers, like the Arabic teachers, expect you to know everything, even in your first year, and don’t really support students. Poorly achieving students’ grades are inflated, and highly achieving students have nothing to challenge them. The level of education must be low, as most students find tests easy even without studying. I’ve never really had a good time here. The icing on the cake is the racism. Most, if not at least 60 percent, of students are mildly discriminatory, and this has been an ongoing issue. I have seen countless students experience a lot of stress and mental health issues due to this discrimination. Take this as advice from a student: do not enroll yourself or your children in this school. It is a money-hungry, profit-making machine.
Best school in Dubai; it has been rated Outstanding for many years. Most importantly, the British accent is maintained. The building is falling apart; the exterior has had plaster and paint damage for over five years now.
This place used to be the most enjoyable place in the world. In junior school, there was so much fun and there were so many interactive activities and teachers who actually showed passion for their jobs. But when senior school started, I felt a sense of dystopia. It felt dull and full of unhappiness. The teachers were either tired or angry most of the time, and sometimes teachers couldn’t even last six months at this school. Something must change, as there are people who don’t even know how to speak English enrolling in a British school. I’ve also heard rumors that there isn’t an entrance exam anymore. That is just unacceptable if you use the term “outstanding” to describe your school. It feels like all the students are treated like a joke. Lastly, the facilities haven’t been updated once in the last five years I’ve been here. The only difference they’ve made is when they decided to build a tennis court, but not for the students to use. What sense of logic am I missing here? If this school doesn’t update its system, it’s all going downhill from now on…
I was a student up until Year 3, and it was the best school I have been to. The facilities are nice and clean, and the learning experience is great. Students were very involved, being taught at a high level. On my last day, we had a party, and it was a really fun experience. I really do recommend this school.
We had a bad experience with them. My cousin told me to contact them two months ago. I informed them about my son’s autism and both his father and I sent them his reports. They then gave us an appointment. The lady who saw him for only two minutes said he needed to see a specialist. I found her to be uninformed, and told her she should have known about his condition since I sent his reports. She claimed that was another department and not her concern. This was a huge waste of our time. Be careful.
Thrilled to share my work experience at Repton Al Barsha. It was a very pleasant and welcoming environment for my first work experience (2019).
This provided a great education for my child for seven years and continues to strive for excellence. Some people who have left negative reviews are upset that their children did not meet the school’s standards. Students enjoy their time at Repton, making new friends and having exciting experiences at camp! I’m so happy we joined Repton; it’s a school, yes, but also a community full of accepting, diverse people. Children receive a top-notch education with many different options for different lifestyles. Repton has made my child’s dream possible with supportive teachers and caring friends. I couldn’t thank them enough! My oldest child just finished their IGCSEs and said Repton helped them reach that point. The fees are definitely fair for the quality of education provided. The bags vary depending on whether your child is in primary or secondary school. The bathrooms are cleaned every day, so I can assure you Repton is spotless. I have made so many friends with other parents! The sports community is also extensive; they offer football, netball, tennis, rugby, rounders, and cricket. The art rooms are terrific; my child is always excited for their next art lesson! They have a variety of art courses to choose from. I highly recommend Repton Dubai!
