Dont send your children to this school they have the most unprofessional organization I have ever dealt with in life. The bus driver took a bus load of kids to her home and because my kids told me and I called in about it we have been retailated against every since. Every week one of my girls is in trouble on the bus, suspended for the most ridiculous reasons ever heard. When you call to express your concerns no one cares.. I asked the supervisor of transportation for a conference with himself the bus driver and I he instead insisted on a 3 way call which I felt. The bus driver can talk to the kids any kind of way and when you say something to her she suspends you child. I wouldnt recommend this school… the turn over rate on teacher is crazy as well.. They care nothing about the safety of the children. I even reached out to Michelle Bonton the superintendent of the school she told me they were working on getting rid of the driver THAT WAS A LIE..they tell you what they want to tell you and do what they want to do. Im so unhappy with the experience and will be glad when its over so my girls can feel like they are going to a learning institution and not a detention facility.

My daughter is suspended again for talking back to the bully bus driver who can talk to kids any way but they cant say anything back. Do not I repeat Do NOT allow your child or children to attend this school between both of my girls 5 teachers quit after Christmas break. Dont let the performing arts make you think its something theyre not doing much of nothing up there..keeping money in the hands of their family and friends. Its a business and whats good for the business is whats good not whats best for the children.
I would like to take a moment to appreciate Mr. Miller (Transportation Director) and Ms. Sloan (Transportation Supervisor) from the Humble Campus transportation department. My 6 year old had a negative experience with a newly hired bus driver. When I contacted them to inform them of the issues presented by their driver I was received positively and professionally. Mr. Miller and Ms. Sloan created a solution in 24 HOURS! The solution they presented not only served and protected my family but ALL the families of RSPA because it allowed more students to receive transportation services by a person more qualified to handle the needs of the RSPA community. This is the standard I expect and have ALWAYS received at Rhodes School for the Performing Arts. RSPA has ALWAYS served as a safe place for underprivileged children to receive exemplary education and extracurricular activities from administrators and staff members that truly have a heart for the job. Im proud to have been affiliated with RSPA for almost 10 years. All of my children have attended and will continue to attend because I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that at RSPA they will receive quality education, be instructed by quality professionals, AND be loved and protected… & you cant find THAT anywhere. 5 stars
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
