A brand new state of the art Richard B Russell, Jr. Middle School was constructed in a new educational complex at the corner of West Candler St and McNeal Rd replacing the prior school on West Midland Ave.
The prior location (formally a historic high school, then later an elementary as well) is now the Barrow County Center for Innovative Teaching. (And that campus is going through a new award winning redesign itself).
The clinic here is horrible. All they do is give you a mint and send you back to class even if you throw up. I had a cold and was feeling bad and they (clinic) just gave me a mint and said you don’t have a fever go back to class. I’m like what?!. I think they should improve the clinic to handle situations better.
