My son went to Bard for 3rd grade. He loved it here. Mrs. Moore was very helpful and attentive to my son’s needs. We transferred into this school from Marina West (where my son was in the principles office almost every day, he was being bullied by a group of boys who could tattle better and there was more of them, so they believed them) to Bard, and he did not have a single incident the entire year. Hueneme schools are just better than Oxnard. To much bullying in Oxnard.
We’ve been very happy with the teachers and admin at Bard. Before moving to Port Hueneme from Ventura, we had been cautioned against PH schools. In actuality, our son’s Bard kindergarten class was ahead academically from where his very good Ventura school’s class was.
