Sometimes words just aren’t enough and this is how I feel about Richborough Nursery. Kay, Jamie and all the key workers at Richborough are out of this world incredible. Our son has never had a bad day and runs in there with so much happiness on his face and not a look back at his parents. Kay has this absolute love for children that is just beautiful to see and appeals to both children and parents alike. As genuine, caring and honest as a person you will meet. Jamie is the other half of the dynamic duo who along with his love for the kids, is incredible as a resource for information (grants, funding, councils etc) and patient and thorough when explaining anything and everything. No child is the same and the team at Richborough Nursery are understanding and work with parents to provide the best environment for the child. Every single other key worker (too many to name sadly) have been wonderful and provide such a supportive and nurturing environment for our son; to the extent to describe them as extended family would not be an exaggeration. Incredible regular communication with parents and photos posted on a private app so parents can enjoy all activities the children are undertaking. Would happily give the nursery more than 5 stars if I could and could not recommend the nursery highly enough, as evidenced by the fact we refused to move out the area as we could not imagine our son attending anywhere else. Thanks for everything guys and incredibly lucky to have found you.
Richborough is a brilliant nursery. Our daughter has attended since she was 9 months old and is now almost 3. She has really flourished in this time and runs into nursery every single day with a smile on her face. Kay, Jamie and the rest of the staff are incredibly supportive and caring and do everything they can to nurture and develop the children in their care. They communicate brilliantly, send plenty of photos and will take the lead on developmental milestones such as potty training. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Richborough. It has been better than we could have hoped for and we haven’t had a single worry about sending our daughter there during this time. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Richborough is a fantastic nursery with lovely, kind, and dedicated staff. We sent our daughter to Richborough for a year, from when she was 11 months and we had a fantastic experience. Our daughter loves going there and loves all of the staff. Kay, Jamie and their team have been amazing – their communication is always excellent, they keep us updated on progress, help guide us on things like potty training and behaviour and are always happy to help. We’re moving house and are very sad to be leaving. We highly recommend the nursery!
Richborough is a wonderful nursery. Our son has been going for a few months now and absolutely loves it. I honestly never thought he’d settle as he’d barely spent time away from me, but thanks to Kay’s careful and gentle method for getting him used to staff members one by one he came to love it very quickly. The staff are all lovely, the activities are varied and the food is great. I completely trust them to make the right calls for him day in day out but reach out when necessary. It’s a huge factor making us want to stay in the area!
My daughter attended Richborough Nursery & Pre-School for the best part of a year and I cannot express enough how outstanding this nursery is. From the first day we met, to settling in, to the outstanding care and attention they pay to the children every single day; Richborough excels across the board. The communication to parents is fantastic, the time spent planning activities so the children can progress at their pace, goes above and beyond most nursery standards. The feedback and observations are reassuring. The kindness and compassion they show the children is wonderful and it feels like a family. In addition to this, they also prioritise developing and retaining staff, which is a huge positive for the children. The safe guarding and procedures and processes are also of excellent quality. It was a great sadness to leave such a fantastic setting. My daughter loved attending Richborough and there was not a single day I was not happy for her to be there. We will miss it. If you are local and considering a nursery, I have yet to find one better than this.
