My daughter went here last year and this place is a disgrace to anything on Mother Earth. This schools general faculty and administrators are the worst. They don’t take action on bullying problems at all. My daughter was threatened and constantly being told words that you wouldn’t here some adults even say. It started mid January for her and happened until the last day of school. At one point the said male student was placed in her class bc he was KICKED OUT of the current class he was in and after awhile he called her a very inappropriate name and of course she responded because she felt the need to tell him to stop so she did and he then got out of his chair and started to come at her with fists calling her a string of words from sh** to c*nt. The teacher of the classroom stopped him and had him taken out of class. Of course this scared my daughter so she started crying and she was then taken to the counselor for only the second time when she reported it and was told he’d be suspended for quite awhile yet the following Friday he was back in the halls where she saw him that morning. This event happened only in March, 2minths after she reported him. He continued to say things to her in the halls, lunch, transition between classes and on the way to the bus slot. She reported all the things he said every Friday and Monday to remind them what happened so action would be taken but the administration of course said they’d take all necessary steps to do what was needed yet every Friday and Monday she had something to report because he was there. The tourment only ended not the LAST day of school. I was so upset and scared for not only my daughters saftey and physical state but also her mental state. I could never get her out of bed and when I did she would cry her eyes out because she wasn’t scared of what the male student would do to her that day. This caused her to miss to many days that she had school work drowning her. She couldn’t get caought up for her 3rd quarter and failed that quarter. 4th quarter she was threatened to be retained so she started picking up she work and didn’t it even in the day she’s wasn’t here and graduated to the next grade but got into a much better school called Northwest School Of The Arts.

The school is just absolutely horrible from their hallways that have ants, bees, roaches and spiders crawling everywhere. Their bathrooms that have graffiti and rude comments about other students and where students fight each other or “slap box”. All the way down to their faculty and administration which is the worst people because they don’t care about their students unless it’s for high scores to make them look good or money to help fund them.

The school is just horriable and deserves no stars but unfortunately you have to rate at least one star to place a written review.

So if you want your child to be physically, mentally, and emotionally hurt, then by all means enroll your child here because if you have those expectations, they will gladly be meet.

Um. Where do I begin? Came from Jersey, thought this school was going to be a great experience for my daughter. It’s messy. I hear good things about the school from older folk. I think it used to be great but has since declined. With my own eyes…the dress code is not enforced. You’d think this was not a big deal but kids look for ways to bend rules then break them….gotta enforce structure. Apparently leadership is distracted. Leaders create the vibe and what they’re about trickles down from staff to student. I’m not saying the school is SCREAMING for proper leadership…I’m saying there’s a whisper.
