My son loved the program his first grade year, then when returned for his second grade year we noticed the quality of the program changed. He was bullied daily, then told he was being too sensitive by staff. It got to the point where he was crying every night when I would pick him up and begging me not to send him back. I had to scramble to find alternative care last minute because the bullying got so bad. They kept minimizing it and blaming my son, instead of having repercussions for the bullies. At one point he said the teacher called him an idiot (which she denies doing). They wouldnt refund my money for the month I paid in advance until I spoke with a supervisor in customer service. I have heard multiple families have had similar issues so unfortunately, I think this is an ongoing issue.
If I could give no stars I would have because This after school program is the worst. Unprofessional and unreliable, the staff sucks the management sucks the program all together SUCKS, they will kick your kids out of the program telling you their suspended and that a manager will call you, then without any explanation youll receive an email saying your childs unenrolled. Nobody will have called you, and when u finally get ahold of a manager (2 months later) they will tell you theyll give you a call back and once again you wont get a call back. Seriously should be called wrong at school cause this program is the WORST afterschool program there is DPS please bring back Kidsmart because this stupid program needs to be removed
