Would give negative 5 stars if I could. Their tactics to rob you of your deposit fee for the preschool waiting list is classic for a church. When you call them to ask about your child’s position in the waiting list, they continue give you false hope by telling you to keep on waiting since your child is “at the top of the list” all year long. When you finally give up and decide that you want your deposit fee back, they essentially say hell nah since it is a new school year and that you’re supposed to call within the previous school year. The thing is, I called during summer which classifies as the same school year since there are fall, spring, and summer sessions in a school calendar. Don’t waste your time and money here and go find another preschool that would treat you better and not steal from you.

Edit: I have just looked at their waiting list policy on the website under admissions>RSCA waiting list policy and there is NO indication on the policy saying that the refund must be made within the same school year. Again, another deceitful statement made by them. I have a screenshot of the policy as evidence just in case they change it.

I have 2 kids that went to Risen Savior since they were two. They basically grew up there until we have moved last year to a different state. Our son was older when we left, 4th gr. and he came into a blue ribbon school, got to be the best in his class, got Principal’s Honor Roll; now he was tested for a GT class, and his score was above the 100%. We were very proud of him, but realized that most of the knowledges came from Risen Savior; they pushed the kids beautifully and taught them not only to be good in school, but to be good christians and to always put God first for everything. Our daughter is younger, but she did amazing as well.
Our son used to imitate the pastor when he came from school, and when he was younger:-), preaching the way he did in the Chapel.
That school is an amazing place to grow and to feel secure, like you belong to a family. We miss the teachers and the environment, we miss our”family and foundation”.
As parents, we highly recommend the school to anyone that wants a solid christian foundation, love for reading, for growing, and for being happy to go to school everyday.
?? and good luck, Moisiade family
We applied to Risen Savior over a month ago for preschool. We have an incredibly sweet, impeccably behaved, potty-trained child with great pre-academic skills, that loves the Lord. We have called and inquired about his admission to the school multiple times. I have called and been told they are still taking applications, yet inexplicably, can’t address why our child hasn’t been admitted. Their own staff have told expressed to us that it doesn’t take this long, and they don’t know why we haven’t heard from their Principal. At a minimum, he has a clear disregard for parent communication and disorganized admissions process. However, after looking through the other reviews here, and the photos on their website, there is a clear and overt under-representation of Pacific Islander/Asian American Families. As a blond mommy of this beautiful boy, I find it very hard to believe his Caucasian brother would not have been admitted weeks ago.
