Not impressed with my last experience. Have had several facials at this location and won’t be going back after this last one. Wanted to have a spa treatment to cap off the wedding dress shopping weekend with my daughters and opted for the 90 minute facial instead of the 60 minute. Of the four of us, three had pillows for their heads, and two had rolls for their knees. I had neither of these, so my head was in a hole on the massage table for 90 minutes. The student spent the last 20 minutes of the facial running her fingers through my hair (not a scalp massage), while my daughters were receiving hand massages. No comment forms at the end, so how are the students being evaluated by their instructors? When we complained about the lack of a pillow (a valid complaint), the instructor could only be described as passive. In short, facility lacks basic supplies, and instructors can only be described as lackadaisical. Aveda Institute in Denver is of far superior quality. This school needs a thorough revamp by Aveda – Not up to the product line’s high standards.
I’ve been to rituals institute many many times. It doesn’t matter what stylist I get I am always happy when I leave. They do such a great job and they really listen to what you would want even if it’s something you’re not used to. They are very good at giving advice what would fit your hair and your face. They do such an excellent job I have never had a bad haircut, dye, style, etc. I have brought my son, my daughter and myself and it has always been a wonderful experience. Teachers are experienced and they always keep a close eye on the students. They have great prices and do everything but extensions. I wish they would do extensions!
