Review 2022:
This place was recently sold and under new management. Since then it’s gone down a creek without a paddle and I can no longer say kids are safe, parents can rest easy with them being there nor that they are anything as before. I’m just glad my child is almost out of there. There are better choices in the immediate vicinity. Good luck to you parents.

My daughter has been at Anchor Academy for the second year now and I’ve found that they are loving, caring and encouraging. This is by far a secure place to have your child cared for; they’re respectful towards the children and teach them consequence in a fair and appropriate manner. Kudos to the school!
I started noticing in pictures and videos that my Pre-K student was always off the side. When I inquired, they said it was a time-out. I’m like okay… I do time-outs at home… Then after a couple more incidents (being written up several times in such a short day) and more videos/pictures of not with the group, I decided to find another school. My child was spending more time sitting in a chair off the side than learning anything.

After finding a new Preschool, my 4 year old literally flourished. I mean, it was day and night.

I would never recommend this place to any parent.

My daughter has been at anchor (now Rivers Edge Academy) for 3 years, and she loves it there . She has learned a lot. Ready for pre K, but she will be going to anchor for after school. Would recommend to any parent.

Just to be clear, my review was for Anchor Academy. I have no experience with the new management that apparently bought Anchor Academy.
