Honestly, this place is great. I get that people could get a sour taste in their mouths on waitlisting – we’ve all been there – but the simple fact that there is a waitlist to begin with shows that this is a desirable location with a good reputation. I get it, I really do: You care about your kiddo and want nothing but the best for them. But giving a one-star review (or saying “If tHeRe WeRe aN oPtIoN tO aPpLy LeSs tHaN oNe StAr, I wOuLd!”) without ever actually having your kids attend here is a bit ridiculous.

Look, turnover happens. Of course it does. But I can honestly say that every principal here has been exceptionally communicative with me, are prompt in answering questions and addressing concerns. They all have genuinely cared about my experience, and more importantly, my child’s experience. The current principal, Dani, has been wonderful and is always willing to take time from her busy day to chat with me on what’s going on whenever I ask.

The teachers are awesome. Each one talks with me, always has a smile on their face, and I can tell just by looking at them that they truly believe in what they’re doing and strive to make the best learning environment possible for all the kids.

My child loves the teachers, has great interactions with the other kids, and is introduced to so many learning initiatives every week that I’m astounded at her mental and physical growth over the past year. On top of that, we receive daily pictures showing our little one playing their heart out, and daily status updates on what they’re doing learning, and eating.

If people leave a bad review because they weren’t catered to in the exact particular way they wanted to be, that’s their problem. Summer is on the way and I’m sure they’ll yell at the sky for being too blue. Just know that it was probably their experience and not their child’s. If you’re looking for a great place to send your kid until they’re ready to jump into elementary school, this is a helluva place to send them.

Our family has absolutely loved our experience at Riverstone! It is our first year here and I am so glad we chose this school! I am not only a parent, but a teacher! The Pre-K program has been amazing for our twins and Ms. Merlyn has taught them both so much in the time that they have been with her. They are learning all of their letters and numbers, doing simple addition and subtraction, learning to write their full names, growing in their foundation of literacy, creating beautiful artwork daily, and have been able to catch up on developmental milestones such as fine motor skills and social skills that were delayed due to severe prematurity. Most importantly, all of their social-emotional needs are always being met which is such a relief as a parent! I have really enjoyed the opportunity to teach the students of Riverstone as well and our principal Dani has been such a blessing to the growth and development of our program, staff, and morale! I also cannot say enough great things about Ms. Amber our vice-principal! She cares so deeply for our school and ALL of the children in her care as a long time loyal employee to the school! I cannot wait to see the great things that are continuing to happen here in the coming months and years.
