I think its a great school my child is in Kindergarten at RSCS and I must say the teachers are doing an excellent job with her from literacy to math and social interaction in the community. No school is 100% great however, if the parents in the community works with the school by showing a great interest of his or her child learning experiences. I believe any school in the Southeast ,Queens Community could be a great school. In addition, parents instilling to their children that a school is place to learn and grow in the classroom will also help the students. If the school have incompetent teachers in the upper grades I haven’t see it yet since my daughter is only in Kindergarten. All the teacher, administration, and secretaries I have met at RSCS have been highly professionals. I hope in the distance future the RSCS continues to stride to be one of the best in Southeast, Queens. The only problem I have with RSCS is the morning and afternoon dropping and picking up my child its chaotic and something should be done I don’t know if it should be done by the the school, or the City Department of Transportation however, something got to be done.

One of the worst schools I’ve ever been to,Im an 8th grader here and it’s my senior year,I graduate in a month I’ve been here for over 6 years and the only thing about this school Is my years here have gotten worse,yes maybe the trips are fun or whatever but the bullying,and the way these teachers treat you are crazy and sad,the emotional damage I’ve gained from being in this school is outrageous and I’m telling you before sending your child to this school make sure to read the ratings and ask kids that have went to this school how it is,cuz me personally the only good things is the 2 or 1 people you can trust and the field trips,that’s it,these teachers will embarrass you, and damage you emotionally,and so will these kids the amount of fighting and kids getting leaked and ppl getting jumped,kids vaping/smoking ect..im telling you think twice before joining this horrible school..yea the teaching is good and what you learn,and is very useful,im not gonna lie the teaching is pretty good,but not these people.

My child goes here at riverton it is the worse school ?? ever dean Watson is a horrible Dean she she is so disgusting the way she acts to my child and the other scholars what is the point of making gym shorts but not let the students wear them this school is so unprofessional my child and her friends hate it here in riverton please do not send your child here my child comes home crying everyday it is so sad dean waston bully’s her this school is the worse the food is bad the learning is okay but the responsibility in this school will make you want beat the dean up I am so tired of this they are so unfair the the scholars the teacher are rude and nasty dean waston needs to get fired.
