What makes a school superior to others? Academic rigor, a wide offering of sports and clubs, caring teachers and administrators and an atmosphere of family. All of this and more is found at Riviera Schools. Our daughter is a sophomore and has been at Riviera since PK-3. Since elementary school, her interests have been encouraged and nurtured. She is constantly pushed to explore new things and challenge herself. As a parent, Ive felt only peace of mind and satisfaction knowing that my daughter is in a school where every single administrator and instructor knows her by name and wants her to succeed. At Riviera, my daughter is not just a number as is the case at many other schools. My sons attended Riviera until 8th grade (Riviera did not have the high school yet). They continued on to high school at another private institution, and we felt the drop in attention and care. While I always knew that the quality of education/environment that we were getting at Riviera was unparalleled, having my sons experience at another school validated what Ive always known, Riviera is one the best schools in Miami!
I currently have two children in Riviera Schools. One is at the prep and the other at the day school. It is truly one school and two campuses. The day we took a tour, my wife and I knew this was a family we wanted to join. So far, my daughter and son equally LOVE it. They are challenged every day, but the faculty go out of their way to help my kids whenever they are stuck or anxious about their work. They have many opportunities to play sports and do extra curricular activities as that is another reason why we love it so much. My son runs cross country and plays baseball, and my daughter plays after school sports and does dance as well. The owner and administration live up to the “family first” environment that we heard of prior to joining. Thank you Riviera for being a home away from home for my kids. When we drop them off each day, we know they are safe and going to grow into better people!
Riviera School is the best school for your kids. The campus is modern and clean, and the teachers and`staff are professional and welcoming. The education is very advanced, and there are many opportunities for students to learn different subjects. Additionally, the school does an amazing job of respecting, supporting, and protecting the students; it makes you feel like part of a family. The Cohens are very kind and reliable family. I definitely recommend this school to all parents looking for a school that prepares students not only acdemically, but reinforces the foundation for moral and ethical behavior. My daughters love Riviera and its friendly atmosphere.
