I went to this school, it was a great school. I went from a freshman to a senior in one year. Then I left and went to job corps to finish up high school, it wasn’t their fault that I left I just found a school that helped me get a trade plus high school. Would I recommend this school to anyone yes and no. Yes I would if someone is struggling in there high school and need to catch up and/or need to hurry up and graduate, no I wouldn’t if someone is happy at where there at. I always talk highly of this school. Is there was some good and bad time just like any other high school. There’s good and there’s bad teachers, there’s good and bad students, the only problem I really had with RMA is that in the 1 or 2 I was there we went threw 2 different principals and the 3rd one is as for as I know still there. I hope. But this school is a great school as long as student grow up and actually act like they wanna be there. And not be so childish.
Richard Milburn Academy was a lifesaver for my son. Once he got to RMA, his attitude towards school completely changed. He told me he felt respected and was treated as an adult. Their no-nonsense approach to setting goals and achieving them is just what he needed. He knew what he had to do and they pushed him to succeed. He completed his coursework in June and while he hasn’t had a graduation ceremony due to COVID, he is extremely proud that he stuck it out and finished and so am I! I would highly recommend RMA to anyone whose child is struggling. They truly care about their students and want them to succeed.
I went to this school for 2 days. I went for my 3rd day and I got kicked out of a classroom for talking to another student before school even started. My parent went up there and a talk grown white man had the audacity to put his dirty hand in my mothers face. This school is unprofessional and some of the staff are very disrespectful.
