My childed went to this school and got bullied extremely bad all the teachers and staff members did was pull them all in a room and picked on my daughter and made it worst i consulted with the principal many time no help and a i got confronted by a mother and chocked by her
I went to Rockdale Public School myself and had a great experience. My nephews go there now. The bullying I have witnessed between my nephew and other kids, the stories that I have been told from mothers and witnessing the police there makes me sick to my stomach. I really wish the old principal would come back and fix this school up. It’s so sad knowing what is happening and the current principal and teachers turning a blind eye. Where is the duty of care towards the children? What kind of examples are the children learning?
The fact that this school can so easily call FACS on a family on a small situation,when not approaching the family or calling the emergency contacts to raise these concerns is terrible. When bullying is raised to the principal she easily turns a blind eye or try’s to pass the buck onto someone else would not recommend sending your child there at all.
I have a few friends who have children going to Rockdale public school. I am horrified for these kids going through emotional ups and downs because you have school bullies being allowed to bully on other children. Where is the department of education and schools duty and care law to provide a safe and educational environment. Where is the competence and professionalism. Where is the enforced anti social behaviour and protecting children. When are the schools administrators of Rockdale public school going to take responsibility for their poor actions,and lack of duty and care. Why aren’t other parents saying something or are they afraid to do so. I never let my children go to such a school where these bullies seem to run wild with no qualms nor fear. Where are the parents of the children who are being bullied to stand up on their behalf?
Very happy with this school, teachers are great and helpful, principal is great, my 2 children learnt more than I expected, extra language lessons are included, lots of sports and music lessons too, they learnt how to swim from there, very happy in many ways, thank you so much for everything! For so many years!!
