I don’t even want to give this school 1 star. This school is a mess the teachers (not all) but most of them don’t care to teach the kids. I seen a worker hit a boys head into the wall because he couldn’t calm him down. The secretary yells at the kids in the cafeteria and tell them to shut up. The principal is never at the school. I don’t have a problem telling them to their face what they do to those kids. I will if ever ask testify in a court of law if asked. With the way they going its just a matter of time anyway before they end up in court.
My daughter is currently in her second semester of kindergarten, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her teachers and principal. Romine still suffers from an old reputation, but it is an improving school with a staff that is growing stronger. If you’re a parent of a child in pre-K or K, then I highly recommend Romine and urge you to get involved with making this school one of the best in the LRSD.
Its a public school and they are doing the best they can with what they have. The building is in distress, as well as most of the equipment. The school district burnt down what infrastructure they had left after the joshua interveners case was dismissed and all of that deseg money went away. So they are pretty much at the mercy of the wolves
