I had my doubts about this school because of its past reputation. This is not the old Roosevelt High. This is now a college Prep school. I Haven’t met any one at this school who isn’t willing to help, no matter what the situation. The teachers know my son (9th grade) they are interested in him and in his future. They want him to succeed and be the best he can be. They motivate him and best of all, he feels that he is part of something, a community. He has never liked school, and prior to going to Roosevelt, every morning was met with arguments and stress. Now my Son gets up on his own, he gets a himself ready and to the bus 10 mins. before he needs to be.
He comes home at the end of the day happy and feeling good.
I am a fan!!!
