Reviews are rare from me but I need parents to know that Roseville Charter School information falls short describing this wonderful school. RCS campus, teacher and staff has exceeded my expectations. As a mother, I hope for academic excellence but my child and I gained hope and an extended family. I enrolled my son in kindergarten based only on the description from Newark Enroll website, unable to visit due to Covid, clueless about the neighborhood because I had just moved from NY. I feared the outcome but immediately realized it was the best decision for my son. Our journey began with a meet and greet my challenges and concerns were heard and addressed immediately. My child was interviewed and asked some questions to assess his knowledge. From day 1, I was impressed with the staff, whom addressed each child by name providing the child with a sense of belonging and parents’ relief knowing your child is safe. It’s been 3 years of constant top notch, personalized, individualized care and words for short to express my gratitude.
My son is in a school that is concern with his emotional health as well as academic growth. His constantly challenge to excelled academic and emotionally. Teachers and staff bring the best of themselves to the classroom and it shows with their innovative, different, creative teaching styles, creating pleasant memories for both parents and children. Parents are constantly inform about the child process and the school changes, issues and activities and invited to part take in solutions. The school provides variety of programs such as: special education, after schools, free off campus trips, music resulting in impressive musicals, art and parent/child activities. The principal Dr. Ledford is accessible runs this school was if we all her family. She knows every child/parent personally and goes above and beyond to handle any issues or concern you might have. In the end, I just hope for a great education for my child and his getting academic knowledge with emotional life lessons that will last him a lifetime. Join our RCS community and be part of our extended family.

My granddaughter goes there and they are the best. My family had a fire lost everything and they help with everything they went beyond the help. Educational wise excellent.

That is my school but only go to K -4. I will miss them
