I’m so grateful that I found Royal Montessori School, my toddler has been attending since she was an infant and I can see how much she has flourished. The school is actually not that close to my home as I live in Carlsbad but I will not send my kid to another school. The teachers and the director Ms Wathsala genuinely care for the children, and that really shows. My child often talks about her teachers when she is home and I can clearly see that she is being treated very well at school and I can trust that she is in a safe and thriving environment. Not to mention Ms Wathsala is dedicated to her job and is quick with replying, and often uploads photos after hours and even on weekends. Ms Child from the infant classroom and Ms Savannah in the preschool prep classroom have been so loving and attentive to my child and everyone that work there have been truly wonderful.
These are some things I really love about the school:
-they really put the Montessori method into practice, letting each child express their own desires and respecting their wishes, and focusing on hands-on play
-the lunch program is very convenient for parents and provide a wide variety of foods through the week
-there are regular parent teacher conferences that keep each family up to date with their child’s development
-there are frequent special programs and visitors (ie from museums, library etc), as well as weekly live music sessions.
-there are festivities with each holiday with a cute photo backdrop for each theme
-the school is always clean and organized, no carpet.
-the outdoor play area is substantial and comes with a sand pit

I can’t express enough how wonderful our experience has been at Royal Montessori. Two and a half years ago we walked through the doors of Royal Montessori; we knew we had found a special place for our child’s education. The staff is not only highly qualified and knowledgeable but also incredibly caring and attentive to each child’s needs. They create a warm and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

The Montessori approach they follow is truly remarkable. It encourages independence, curiosity, and a genuine love for learning. Our daughter has developed a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine passion for exploring the world around her. The facilities are top-notch, clean, and well-maintained, providing a safe and stimulating space for the kids. Communication with the teachers is excellent, and they always keep us informed about our daughter’s progress and activities. Special recognition is deserved for Ms. Challo, Ms. Liz, Ms. Savannah, and the school’s director, Ms. Wathsala. If we could have it our way, these teachers would stay with our daughter throughout her schooling. They’ve helped my husband and I understand our daughter’s needs, which in turn helped us become better parents.

We feel blessed to have found Royal Montessori, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a school that truly cares about their child’s growth and development. Thank you, Royal Montessori, for being such an amazing place for our daughter’s early education journey!
