My son joined RSM in the middle of the last year as a third grader. He has always been interested in math and the public school curriculum was not enough for him. Our friends whose child literary grew up with RSM were highly recommending the School so we decided to try it out.

What can I say?… My son absolutely loves RSM. The curriculum is challenging enough for him and there is always something new to learn in a friendly and fun environment.

This year, due to COVID-19 I was working from home and I could hear what was going on on RSM weekly calls (RSM proactively and successfully pivoted all programs to remote learning). And I should say the RSM lessons were the most energetic compared to all other scholastic activities offered online by various educational centers! Children were constantly engaged in the learning process. They were chatting with each other trying to find the best solutions offered by their teacher who was always present encouraging the students and letting them to open up. I think the students were not noticing how time was flying by!

Overall, I am very grateful to all RSM-Brooklyn teachers for everything they do for the students they teach.

Not sure why some people here are so negative. Ultimately math is not an opinion. I have two sons enrolled here. One in 1st grade and one in 4th grade. Both are going to be in RSM Honors next year. Both of them took the MAP test and their results were off the charts. More specifically my elder son’s 4th grade teacher said he is doing 8th grade NYC standards math! I can assure you that it’s not thanks to the public school system!!!
Our 4th grader is already well on her way to being better than her parents at math thanks to her time here with Miss Stella. Maybe worth adding after the first sentence: They’s taught her to handle complex algebra and geometry problems that we remember learning in junior high school. The classes have been extra useful during the quarantine, when schooling made math retention a dicier proposition.
