Excellent school. They teach age appropriate, yet challenging math. This means introducing algebra, geometry, and other concepts to elementary age children, when such concepts are typically delayed in public schools until middle school. My kids find the assignments and teaching to be both fun and engaging. One of my kids in particular does not find the kind of inspiration she is looking for in her school math class. At RSM, she is challenged and happy. The teachers are all warm, approachable, and very patient with all the students. Highly recommended.
We started RSM for our eldest about a year back after learning about it from NPR. RSMs curriculum is quite different and soon had him engaged. I like the way RSM teaches to solve problems logically. This technique initiates the process of critical thinking and helps the student to understand problems clearly. We have seen a distinct difference in our son after studying in RSM. We enrolled him in summer classes for physics as well. His teacher was very fun and engaging and our son enjoyed those classes and learned a lot. We highly recommend RSM.
My sons have been taking classes at RSM since the Houston branch opened. They both love math and needed to be challenged. The programs are great for kids who need extra help or a challenge. I haven’t seen another program that explains the concepts more clearly. I am very grateful in the current situation of having to use distance learning for school that I can count on their math education progressing and being monitored by experts. It just feels like one less thing that I have to worry about.
