Our son has been part of the program for many years. We love Miss Marina and Miss Natasha, who take care of each child as if they were their own and go so far out of their way to help with missed classes, program questions, and homework we don’t know how to answer! These RSM leaders work 24/7 to make the program magical for families and we are grateful for all of the extra work and love. Our son has felt welcomed and challenged in the program for years now and is engaged in math in a way that we do not see in other settings. We have tried other RSM locations and RSM San Fernando is unique in its level of caring and community, which is a testament to Marina. We can’t recommend the program more strongly to others! The waitlist is long — call now!
RSM San Fernando was recommended to us by my sons homeroom teacher in kindergarten as a way to provide accelerated math, which his school did not offer. Over time, it was also recommended to us by various families at many highly rated independent schools as well as the principal of our school. 5+ years later, we cant recommend it enough – my son feels engaged in the program, loves the community, and now tutors other younger students in math. We are especially grateful for Marina Soderstrom, who has gone above and beyond to create a vibrant community and to understand the needs of each family, be it acceleration or catch up work. We have tried several other programs, including UCLA Math Circle, and they do not compare.
