Our son broke his foot the beginning of last year and subsequently missed a week and a half of school, he returned to school and as math is a progressive subject that builds as it goes, he was notably behind. His teacher, a Mrs. Akers told him “I don’t understand how you are even in this class.” Our son is a National Honor Student and was in an advanced Math class, prior to this experience he loved math and since this he hates math. On another experience, I went in to pick up my son, there was a group of faculty congregating in the hallway, a female student walked through the middle of the group of students and a teacher turned to the student and began to berate her in a way I was ashamed to witness. We have another child whom is Autistic and was bullied horrifically, and as we attempted to address this with the school, we were told that without the names of the students who participated, they could do nothing, we we’re told that if he attempted to defend himself he would be suspended. Today we got a call from our son, asking if we could bring him food because he is allergic to dairy and they refused to feed him, yet the school received government funding to feed all of our children, and also extra funding for providing a nutrious alternative for those with allergies. What they are doing here is actually blatant fraud. If you have any sort of esteem for your children, find an alternative.

My daughter is graduating from 5th grade so I called to find out about the school and I ask them about a tour. So they just transfer me with telling me they were tranfering me to someone else I repeat my question they transfer me again and the last person they transfer me to was a No answer I left a mesage let’s see how long they take to answer my question. Im just confused because i hear some good stories but I hear a lot of bad stories and when i called and the way they treated me over the phone I dont think its a good or safe school for my kids

The administration clearly has zero control over their students. These kids were the most disrespectful of any school I’ve been to in the city. The language they were using in front of women and little children was appalling. The teachers and administrators allow it to, encouraging and supporting bad behavior right in front of me. If you don’t care about your children and want them going to school with these types of people this school is for you. What a terribly ran establishment.
