We used to like the school very much, but this year (2023-2024) has been a disaster. It accepted so many admissions that it no longer feels like a community. It’s very sad because we did like that feeling; now, it’s just a normal school, nothing special. I don’t feel the children get as much attention from the teaching staff as they used to.
My almost 7-year-old still cannot read at the expected level (one more point that there is not enough attention given to children at the school). There are not enough sports programs for secondary students, and whenever you try to book desired ECA slots, none are available; they are all taken within the first 10 minutes of booking opening.
Post from 2020:
The environment is good, and the new campus is amazing. They handled all the pandemic and COVID-19 rules very well and had barely any closures.
Amazing school, friendly staff, warm environment, up-to-date curriculum. We are really happy; both my kids are studying here.
If you are looking for a wonderful new complex with a friendly environment and nice staff, then this is the school for you. All the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The school is not so large that it feels impersonal; the principal remembers the names of my children, and they are not just another number. I am very happy that we chose Safa British School.
My children used to go here. I would definitely not recommend this school, as the lessons in secondary school are inadequate. Secondary school teachers spend half of the lessons shouting at the students. The drama teacher is terrible, constantly yelling. The teachers have no care or commitment to the students’ grades or well-being. Demerits are a big issue at this school, and teachers constantly bully students about them.
Beautiful school, very nice, organized teachers and management. Reception was very quick to help us get our access passes on the first day. It’s a very multicultural school.
They kept us well informed about everything before the new academic term started. I really appreciated all of that.
However, school drop-off is a total nightmare. JESS is on the other block, along with two other colleges and nurseries. The surrounding roads are at a complete standstill.
School fees are expensive, especially with three children. :(. These two things may be a dealbreaker for continuing at this school.
Beautiful, green, and safe campus, friendly and accessible principal and staff. We’ve been with Safa since 2013, and we have never been disappointed with anything. They work on kids’ development from all aspects. We love this school, and we will stay with them until our kids go to university.
Unprofessional and arrogant teachers and administrators. Unhealthy environment for children.
