If it were just for the class itself, they would have gotten a solid 3 — not bad, not good, nice enough people. But it’s getting a 1 because of the location. Safesplash rents a lane at this 24hr Fitness, but the location does not let you use the changing rooms, showers, lockers, etc. You’re left to rinse off with the water next to the pool, and change in a popup tent that of course you need to wait for all the other kids to use. Of course there will be no towels, so bring your own.
Then there’s the other people there, presumably members of 24 Fitness. They must really dislike kids being there as they’re consistently rude and making snide remarks. I understand when kids are unruly and they need to be put in place but these kids are minding their own business. Not SafeSplash’s fault but it’s not worth being around these people.
Safe splash provides the most pathetic customer experience I have ever seen in my 6 years in US. They cancel the class left and right (happened twice in last 3 weeks) and dont provide refund for it. When I pulled back my son and asked for a refund for cancelled classes, they said that they can only provide credit which can be used for future classes which Im not taking so essentially my money is gone. Location receptionist routes to phone customer care for any questions and phone customer care says location has to approve the refund and that they cant do anything. They make customers go in circles so you give up and they keep your money. Wouldnt recommend this swimming class centre to anyone.
I am giving 2 stars only because my son liked his teacher. I definitely had a horrible experience with this place. Water was freezing cold they constantly canceled, Then would proceed to tell me they would credit my account for another class but never did. Twice I showed up for class and was told there was none, even more frustrating was they claimed ” I had been notified”.. but I had not. My son learned nothing after 3 months.. it was the most basic swim routine similar to what I do with my son in a pool. For 200 bucks a month I would expect a lot more. I would never recommend this school to anyone or ever go back.
