This is a great school for so many personalities and if your child is gifted I believe its a must for the Enterprise, Al area. My son went to this school for 3 years and it was more than we could have ever hoped for. He was there during Saint Johns first 3 years of opening the school. Even though they were just getting started and they had some personnel that were military and having to leave unexpectedly, it never interrupted the childrens learning. He had amazing teachers and aids that really started his love for education; especially reading and math. Now that he has moved on to 2 different schools, I would give anything to have him back in a Montessori school. The rigorous, regimented ways of the other schools have truly been a kill joy to his spirit, but I am forever grateful to this amazing start he had at St. John Montessori school.
This school has been wonderful for my son. The teachers, the staff, and the Montessori method have given him the chance to continue to grow in the areas that he already loved (art, geography, and science) and have encouraged him to work on and enjoy the areas that he did not like (reading and math). I am constantly amazed at what he can do at the age of 5. My only complaint is that we can’t take the school with us when the army moves us.
