The brotherhood, leadership, and partnership purported by the school has not yet been realized for my son. Disappointing. I find staff and leadership are slow to respond and tend to easily dismiss the notion of great customer service when interacting with parents. Still waiting and praying for the promise the school delivered on the tours and family meetings to be realized. Our son is destined for greatness. When he looks back, it would be wonderful to know St. Joseph had a hand in his growth and development.
I attended Saint Joseph H.S. from 2005-2009. Their accelerated and AP courses were excellent, as well as their clubs, honors societies, athletic programs, and guidance department. A combination of these things and a lot of hard work helped me get accepted to Carnegie Mellon (which I ended up attending) as well as 9 of the 13 Universities that I applied to.
As a parent I wish my son was entering now as a freshman vs now being a senior. The changes in administration and policies now in place are great as they focus on a solid tier education but also strong on campus ministry. Offering many leadership opportunities. I have always received same day responses for any question or concern.
